Exterior Painting Process
If done correctly and by following the right procedures, a fresh paint job can last up to 10+ years. We follow strict steps and procedures to give your property the look you want. 1. Clean Exterior
It is extremely important to get rid of the Mildew or any kind of mold on the exterior walls before the application of fresh paint.
2. Scrapping
Scrapping off lose or peeling paint is crucial for making sure there are no uneven surface or deformities left and the walls are left smooth once job is completed.
3. Fill Holes & Cracks
Once all the peeling paint is scraped off, all the cracks and holes present on the surface are filled using Putty or DryDex until they're dried up and ready for sanding.
4. Sanding
Sanding plays a key role in making sure the surface are smooth and even before the fresh paint is applied on the walls.
5. Prime the walls
Applying Primer creates a seal between the original material so that the fresh paint doesn't get soaked into it, which would lead to extra coats.
6. Apply Fresh Paint
Less is more when it comes to applying top coats. More layers can result in paint flaking off through the years; less paint bonds better to layers beneath.
